Maintenance of your rattan furniture is very easy. Here are few tips on how to keep your rattan furniture in its best condition.
To prevent dust build-up, simply wipe it with a dry cloth, feather duster or the soft brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner.
Only use a slightly damp cloth to remove spillages.
Wipe the piece down occasionally with a damp cloth and mild household cleaner.
Un-lacquered pieces, those left in the natural state, can be sprayed with a clear varnish to seal the surface.
Keep the furniture indoors or on the veranda. While rattan certainly likes humidity, it is not outdoor furniture.
